This guide will explain how to reset a user’s password from a system administrator’s point of view. You will have the option to give the user an automatically generated random password or a password that you choose.
Permissions Required: You must have the edit users permission granted. We recommend that only system administrators have access to this function.
Overview:
There are many different ways to navigate to the user list, this method will work from any starting point in Align Us.

Click the
Structure icon in the left menu.

Click the Users and Teams card.

Click the List All Users card.

Click the user whose password you want to reset.
To change multiple users’ passwords at once:

Click the checkbox next to the users whose passwords you want to reset.
Click the More Actions button and click Reset Password from the dropdown.

Click the Login Info header to expand the card.

Make sure the Generate a random password option is selected.

Make sure the Email the user their password box is checked.

Click Reset Password.

Click Do It, unless you do not want to reset this user’s password - then click Cancel.

Click OK.

Click the Login Info header to expand the card.

Select the Manually specify a new password option.

Enter the user’s new password twice. The password must be at least 8 characters.

Make sure the Email the user their password box is checked.

Click Reset Password.

Click Do It.

Click OK.
